Welcome!
I’m Carly Brunclik, the owner of Birth Your Way Lake Country and a DONA-certified birth doula devoted to making your birth extraordinary!
Your birth does not have to be terrifying or traumatic. I am passionate about being an advocate for women and their families throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond to ensure their birth is a positive, safe, and empowering experience.
Through informational, emotional, and physical guidance, I aim to provide each of my clients with personalized support as they embark on the unforgettable journey of meeting their baby!
Why Hire a Doula?
Whether you are a first-time mom or have given birth multiple times, every birth experience is unique and unpredictable! Expectant parents should go into their birth with a plan that provides them with the educational, emotional, and physical support they need to achieve a safe, positive, and unforgettable birthing experience.
Doulas are trained labor support professionals that work with expectant parents to help them feel safe, heard, and respected throughout the entire process. They work side-by-side with parents to create a birth plan that reflects each partner’s top priorities and support styles to shape their ideal birth environment.
-
❀ Doulas work to ensure your birthing preferences are respected throughout your labor. If a procedure doesn’t align with your personal values, doulas can help reflect information back to you as to why a procedure is being offered and assist in helping you make the best decision.
-
❀ Having a support team during your birth experience can help create a stress-free process that reduces the need for interventions such as epidurals, cesareans, and labor-inducing measures.
-
❀ Partners are important too! Doulas are passionate about guiding partners to discover their specific support styles that provide sufficient encouragement and assistance to the mother during pregnancy and labor.
-
❀ Flexible scheduling revolves around your pregnancy. Doulas provide services that include check-ups, 24/7 contact availability, and accompaniment during home, birth center, or hospital births.
-
❀ Continued support after birth with post-partum care. Doulas help mothers after labor for guidance with newborn care and the transition to parenthood.

How I Can Help
My main goal as a birth doula is to ensure that all mothers, babies, and families are given the most positive and empowering birth experience possible. Birth is a sacred and transformative event that should be looked back on as an unforgettable experience. I strive to create that experience with each client by focusing on their personal goals and expectations leading up to, during, and after birth.
Every mother deserves to feel as comfortable as possible during their birth experience. I actively work to maintain a relaxed environment for the mother to reduce stress on all parties during delivery. Through comforting touch, giving massages, applying counter pressure, leading breathing exercises, and other stress-relieving measures, I ensure you are receiving the constant support and encouragement you need to create a positive birth experience.
I aim to empower mothers to advocate for themselves during their birthing process. This allows the mother to be fully engaged and informed throughout every phase of their birthing experience, prenatal, delivery, and postpartum.
“Birth is amazing! It is not something that has to be feared or traumatic. Even if your birth doesn’t go according to your expectations, it is still possible to feel safe, heard, and respected throughout the entire process.”
